A ready saree is usually 5.5 metres. Taller frames, Gujarati and Bengali drapes, and a 9-yard nauvari need more cloth. Set your height and drape.

Build
A standard ready saree is 5.5 metres (about 6 yards) plus a blouse piece. Taller wearers and Gujarati or Bengali drapes often need 6 metres. A nauvari is 9 yards, about 8.2 metres.
For a Nivi drape with a regular build, yes. If you want a long trailing pallu, a Gujarati seedha pallu, or fuller pleats, step up to 6 metres.
